Advice on an r1

Bought a 2003 R1 limited edition black with red ghost flames flawless, no issues that I can see at all looks like it just left the showroom
know where near stock either
sold my f4 bought this with the money from it, now does anyone have experience with these bikes? the bars are extreamley low and its not fun to ride for very long, and i commute 60 miles a day year round.
is there a way to raise the bars? And whats the price difference for parts compared to a cbr I dont really think I was ready for a 1000, but the deal was a know brainer its worth double what I paid.May trade it for a 600rr depending.

Hey thanks that's what I have been looking for, just could not find them anywhere I am sure with a half inch riser it should be better.

your just used to how relaxing the cibber is compared to the r6/r1. all our cibbers are nice and relaxing but then you hop on the r1 and its like wtf i'm constantly doing push ups haha. I rode my buddies r6 and anothers r1 and its hard as hell to ride long distances
your right , its kinda like doing push ups all the time, its a nice bike though trying to deal with it intill I can find a half inch riser
INLESS anyone with a cbr wants to trade

I was a Yamaha diehard all my life until I bought my first Honda two years ago - a 1000RR. There's no way I'd trade it for an R1 or R6.
I cant say I blame ya, ran into a guy today on an 04 1000rr we switched for about 2o miles rides much nicer, this one just feels like you need to be flying around a track
