Default Just saying HI and looking for advice

I picked up a 1996 900rr that's been heavily modified. I've already noticed quite a few things on this old bike that I need to replace, but I'd like to hear comments from others on what I should be replacing or looking at.

Thanks,
Ken

Oh, forgot to add that I'm looking for an owners manual for this bike. I'd prefer to find on in pdf someplace and if anyone has a link, I'd appreciate it.

My 94 900RR sits next to my mustang in my garage as well.

A 95 GT that has been completely reworked. 351 Windsor under the hood with cobra intake. Carbon fiber everywhere inside. Custom FR500 Ford Racing 2 tone leather inside. Chrome Cobra rims, 275/40/17s in the rear. Lowered, custom exaust, grounds effects package from Cervivi.

I saw your pics and had a flash. My bike is on the other side though.

No PDF manual, but I do have a link to a parts fische if your interested. Both years listed above if I remember right.

I purchased a manual, on a disk, in PDF format, off of Ebay. I think it cost me a total of $6.00 ($3.00 was for shipping). It has baan extremely helpful. Just put 900RR or something like that...

Here's a link for the search that usually gets me the most results:

Good luck!

Looks almost like my bike. Black/silver flames. 1995.

Had an 89 5.0 LX Mustang ... sold her about 3 yrs ago. Windsor engine IS the way to go for Cubic inches. Do you have an FI set up on it or a carb? If you ever have questions about moding your mustang talk to Tom at AllMustangPerformance.com He is the owner & knows those cars inside and out, what works and what doesn't work so well. He also sells any OEM used part you may ever need.

Hey if you know anyone who wants to buy ( cheap )an oem 1987 EFI 5.0 stock intake manifold and or fuel rails let me know, craps taking up space in my storage. LOL.

Did the owner of the 900rr tell you any recent work he has done? I'd get it dyno tuned if it hasn't been done recently. These bikes are VERY sensitive to carb adjustments. Also clean the airfilter on it if it hasn't been done recently. From the looks of the bike it probably has a K&N or other washable filter on it.
