I'm used to ride in big groups especially trips organized by the club. I had attended marshall training as well and what HC had put in there is very much in it. I'm normally a fencer; where my job is to make sure the line is in formation, pushing slower rider not to break the line, clearing path, assisting the lead marshall and so on. Tiring job but kinda fun since I can be anywhere in the convoy; not be held with same speed riding. Oh yeah, normally marshall will be paid for their fuel, food and accommodation as well.

These days I ride with my set of sportbikes buddies which around 5 to 15 of them. We know each other riding style very well and no holds barred here. If the lead rider goes fast, the rest will follow suit. Usually it will be the short weekend trip to the mountain.

I ride alone. If I was in a group I would feel most comfy at the end. I could stay out of trouble, watch for riders down. and if the group got too sqirrelly, I could easily ditch them. I enjoy the company of motorcyclists, but around here they are not good company on the road. I would ride with folks like what we have here, on CBRF, being concientous and all.
