I do need to learn to cook though, and start eating healthier. Even though I've only gained 2 lbs over the last 8 years (I'm up to 157 lbs.... almost 6 ft tall), I know I need to start watching what I eat or it's gonna catch up to me soon.

Everyone is always telling me "you know women hate people like you" lol. Eat everything in sight and never gain a pound. Can't last forever though. Oh well I still got 4 years and 1.5 months to play! hahah
I cook all the time, but I really love Prime Rib days. Big ole standing rib roast cooked medium rare with sides of raosted asparagus or broccali just gets me in the mood for lovins!!!
I am cookin some homemade chili right now, but other tasties are jambalaya, homemade minestrone, spagetti (of course, who doesn't make some spagetti of some sort), lasagna, marmalade glazed BBQ chicken or pork chops.Ican spend a whole weekend over the grill or smoker. Oooooh, smoked ham, chicken, jerky, brisket, ribs or brats...damn.
As a matter of fact i found a recipe this past weekend for an appetizer that was absolutely awesome. here it goes.
Grab a bunch of fresh jalapenos from your localstore. Cut the tops off, slice down the middle on one side to leave most of the rest of the pepper in tact. Scrape out the insides of the pepper with a knife. Get the seeds and insides out. Fill the hollow pepper with cream cheese, sharp cheddar, oranother of your fav cheeses, wrap the pepper with bacon and throw on the grill for a couple of minutes to cook the bacon andmelt the cheese. watch them closely as the bacon can cause flame ups! Once they are melted and slightly browned, remove from the grill and let cool for a couple of minutes. DAMN!!! now thats an appetizer that will set you right! try it.
oooh, i'm hungry....time to stir the chili.

I love to bake!! I can bake anything and if i go a while without baking i go nuts. But as for cooking i have a few dishes that i can make pretty good. I make a mean meatloaf that has a sauce of ketchup, mustard and brown sugar on top of it. With that i make mashed potatoes that have a whole stick of butter in them, sour cream and milk, and beer biscuits. And to finish it off gooey butter cake that has two sticks of butter, a package of cream cheese and a box of powder sugar in it. Got to love it!!
Jeezum Crow, Ten...you ain't messin about, brudda! If you need a roomie some day, let me know [sm=smiley30.gif]. You talk about using sharp cheddar for the bacon poppers. I have found that when you are cooking or baking, you need to use a sharp cheddar cheese. For example, if you make homemade mac and cheese (another easy recipe), if you use a mild or medium cheddar, you will not get the cheese flavor. It will taste like roux...or nothing at all. Sharp cheddar is the only option...
Just made these http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/reci...6_6904,00.htmladded some chocolate chips in 1/2 the batch.... They are sooo yummy and fluffy!
