I was playing around with another bike on the highway today... you know just racing back and forth, nothing serious and only for a few miles.

I am horrible at identifying other bikes, but this was a honda and looked a lot like my 1000RR. It said CBR on the tank and RR on the lower fairing. I thought it might be an 1000 RR, but it had a side mount exhaust. Like I said, I can't identify other bikes or know older bikes at all. Does anyone have any clue what kind of bike this might have been. It was Red and Black and close to the same paint scheme as my bike.

probably a 954. they had the smaller wings on the sides and a larger RR. side mount exhaust with LED tailight. and was available in red/black
