Default what kind of oil and weight do you run in your bike?

I was running full synthetic 10w 40. About $10.00 a quart.
I recentley changed to VR-1 racing oil, 20w 50. About $4.00 a quart. It was reccomended by a guy who use to race.
I thing im gonna go back to 10w 40 full synthetic. My 900rr seemed to run a Little smoother and Less noisier with, 10w 40, full synthetic.
What kind of oil do you run???

I use Honda GN4 10-W40. I will be looking around for a synthetic replacement of the same quality or higher, if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate them.

I run 20w-50 in all my bikes but Im in Texas and it's hotter here so the thicker oil warms up faster and protects better.

I ran a 10w-50 Elf Full Synth in my '01 R1. Shifted tons better, power pretty much felt the same, but I don't expect much power from just oil.
