That's a bad scene to be sure. But you said you were in a different class than the gixxer rider. Is it possible the guy is a good guy and just fu#ked up and now feels so bad about it he might justleave the sport? I don't know, just putting it out there. My new years eve resoluotion was to give people the benifit of the doubt. Being Irish that's fu#king hard to do!

 

You're right. I talked to him last night and he said that he had worked the night before and had nothad any sleep in the past >24hrs. He definately shouldn't have been out on a bike.

 

Amen, brutha' ! If you are not in a good mental state (tired, pissed off, depressed), you had better keep off the bike. I was so pissed off at my wife one time, I decided to get away from her and go for a ride. As the bike was warming up, I realized I could hardly see straight I was so pissed...I shut her down and pushed her back into the garage. I feel for the guy. Besides trashing his bike, I'll bet his ego is crushed, and he has the guilt of the other guys who ran into him.

 

thats the reason Will (txn_driver) didnt ride the bike back from new braunfels last night..he was really tired from work and didnt sleep to well the night before. He started to get his gear out of the car and then said no im too tired can we have it delivered? ( its like a 58 mile trip in heavy traffic)
