Default stupid question forum...

i know there are people out there who have been taught never to ask a "stupid" question. well i for one believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question hence the reason for this post. i want to make it so any member can post a question in this post without fear of ridicucle or feelings of stupidity for asking a question.. so im gonna start this out on agood note. i am going to go to the drag strip this weekend and wantyed to get some opinions on launching techniques yall use. i am completely new to drag racing on bikes so i dont know quiet how to launch on my bike. i am afraid that when i lauch the bike will just go into a complete 12 o clock and end up landing on top of me..... any body got any pointers for a newbie?

well i dont drag race bikes. but im my buddys mechaninc on his car helpin him build a nice pocket dragster for him. they have a test and tune night at are local track were we can bring the car and run it and experimint with it. you should check your local track and see if they have it just make some normal runs there and slowly progress up as you feel comfteble.

the only stupid qestion is the one not asked.

You can get all the advice from the best drivers in the world. Just go out and practice. That is the best thing you can do.

If it's a ? to keep you from ending up on your back......it's not a stupid ?. Going out there without asking would be. I used to work on a horse farm. Some of the horses were worth over $100K. My first day, my boss told me, the ? you don't ask will be the one that gets you in trouble.

I'd rather see someone who knows they don't know it all, than someone who thinks they do.
