I just reada really good article about the 2000 model (which would be the one to reference since it didn't change in '01), and they make no mention of it. The article was very in-depth so I am left sort of dumbfounded. I'm not sure what to think...

But I do know 2 things;

My feet moved that day! lol,

I've seen no cracks/stresses or frame ding/dents/twists in all my inspections which would lead me to believe that there is something different or wrong with my bike...

Hye Hoosier, yeah, I've seen that bike! I'm on eBay every day scouring for 929 parts and 954 bikes! I'm curious to see what it will go for.

Here is a picture of my buddy's 954. It's an '03 and it's the one I rode, very sexy bike with all the tricks. Blue SS lines front and rear, carbon fiber everywhere, GPR stabilizer, Woodcraft rearsets and a PCIII. Sexy indeed...
