Default Rear Brake

Okay, got a little feedback on who uses trail braking, now I wonder how many of us use the rear brake in corners....not the jam it on and high side technique, but feathering it to adjust your line?

i tap it if necessary to slow down while im still leaning.....i prefer to straighten up and break to prevent any unnecessary risks, but when im deep in a corner i definately give it a who's ur daddy

I've used it to make the bike more compliable when getting ready to lean.

i do, i often use it to adjust my line. i find it keeps the bike better behaved and gives a massive advantage when powering out of a corner. i use it and i recommend it

Trail braking is a technique. You can also trail brake with the front brake. But yes I use both in corners sometimes.

i dont even like touching the rear brake, i have locked it up once at 50MPH (didnt highside...whoo..i had just broke my front brake lever) and i just dont even use it unless im sitting at a light. everytime i am riding and start to touch it the back feels like it starts to slide..and i dont like that feeling. so i just stay away from it all togethor. as for braking in a lean....i dropped the msf bike too many times doing that, lesson learned.

The only time I'm going fast enough to have to brake in a turn would be when I'm out carvin up the 15-35mph corners. I don't use the brake I'll just let off the gas a little bit because when I'm running that area I usually keep it in 2nd or 3rd and the rpm's over 6k so the engine slows me down.
