Default rant

Okay, Im annoyed... First off, I finally order some real gear last week... everythings good, until I get an email friday saying that the Icon Daytona jacket I ordered was back-ordered and, as such, was removed fro.m my order. Fair enough. In the email, they say I can either have the full price of the jacket refunded to the credit card, or they can give me a gift certificate for 110% of the jackets price. Naturally, I replied to the email saying I want the gift certificate. I still havent gotten a reply... normally, Im pretty patient, but it annoys me that they havent even updated the jackets status on the site (still says 3-5 days on the availability thing).

**** it. I hate not being able to post...

On top of that, I'm now out $200 for a new rear tire since its apparently against dealership policy to install a used rear.

So now I get to wait at least another week before my gear gets here, and it'll probably be friday before I see my bike again [:@][:@][:@]

Go to another dealership even if its not a honda. Hell, if they wont do it im sure a car dealership can still put the tire on.

Im not even going to a honda dealership lol... the nearest honda dealership is kind of far away, and from what Ive heard, theyre overpriced.

Anyway, I think Im just going to go ahead and get a new rear... Hopefully by the time I need my next rear tire, Ill have a rear stand. Then I can just change the tire myself (I dont believe its that hard, is it?)... its just frustrating given the whole NewEnough thing.

*edit: would a car dealership even be able to put a bike tire on? How would they get the rear wheel off? Not trying to be a douche, I'm just curious

*edit: okay, I officially apologize to NewEnough.com... I just checked my email and I have a fedex tracking number, so apparently they finally got around to shipping my helmet and gloves... hopefully they send me my gift certificate thing so I can order a jacket soon.

I have had car tire shops change out a tire for me. You have to take in the rim and tire. Some will also have the ability to balance... but most wont

^ well thats sort of a problem... I dont have a rear stand, so getting the rear wheel off would be a bit of a problem for me lol

Anyway, I guess the bikes ready to be picked up, so Im going to go get it tomorrow after work... and I finally got the gift certificate from NewEnough, so all is good again lol

mounting is allright..you can do it with a couple o' pry bars if you try hard enough...balancing is another story, a car tire balancer wont work...to get my rear tire off the ground i just take a few of those tie down straps..tie it to a rafter and crank up the bike...i dont know if it will work for the front tire though
