Hate my job. I’m a weather forecaster for the USAF and it seems like all the days that are riding appropriate I sit here for 12 hours with nothing to do cause its great outside. (Past 2 weeks) The days that I have off all suck! Like tomorrow! If you live in the northern Louisiana area or the few states above it the weather will suck for you to! I get 2 days off finally and both of them blow but my days back at work will be nice again! Looks like call of duty will devour my days off AGAIN. lol

 

dude i feel you... i have a similar job. Im a merchant coordinator/system tech in my town for local businesses but i get calls like maybe at most once or twice a month. I sit at my computer on a daily basis gettin paid to play on facebook all day basically and there are days that i am pretty upset because it would be nice and sunny and im at work and days off would rain and suck ***

Just kidding, man. I feel your pain. Last month was exactly the same for me. It sucks. Seems like every time I'm ready to take a good long ride in the twisties, it's chitty out.
I ride a good bit in the rain, though, too. I ride to work almost every day. And now I have a heated jacket, so the cold doesn't get to me quite as easily.

 

Ah, that DOES have to suck to sit there and watch the bad weather rolling in.

 

It is horrible watching it come in. I’m back at work right now and yesterday I went on a small ride but it’s too cold out. But today now that im at work its mid sixties and sunny out. My forecast for Friday(my day off) A front with some rain!!!! GAAAAA I wish instead of forecasting weather I could control it! I’m still working on that idea though. Maybe I’ll try Al gore’s idea on controlling hurricanes! lol
