hi guys im new here .. and i just wanted to know somthing.. i bought my bike about 3 monthes ago 1k rr well from the first day the bike felt so strong and loud .. with just a touch on the throttle and i could feel that it wanna jump up .. now it has about 800 miles.. its just doesnt feel the same . im not sayin its not strong .. no its perfect but it seems to be more smoother .. and only get the feeling of it wanna jump up after 3k rpm or 4k . so is it normal .. one of my friend told me its just cuz i got more adjusted to the throttle .. so..?

 

Did you follow the brake in procedure in the manual? Sounds like you are just getting used to the power. I went from a old f3 to a 05 600rr and thought the rr had alot of power. know i find my self jamming the throttle wide open looking for more some times. I would say its you.

 

deffinetly you are just more used to the power now. the more natural feeling the more intune you are with your bike... enjoy it alot of people never really get intune with their bike and those are the ones who say "damn i just bought a 07600rr for my 1st bike and its not fast enough !"

 

thats what my friend said .. and ya i followed the break in guide line as the book says it .. i never went over 6k the first 600 miles and during the 600 - 800 miles i only went up to 9 k .. and i changed the oil at 700 miles . so it should be ok for the break in .. . i guess its just my hand is gettin used to it
