Yeah it turned out to be more work than I thought this afternoon. Fired right up after some new plugs, but the gas leak was unexpected.

what do u mean by all 4 carbs were leaking gas? u mean all 4 plugs? and how did u fix the gas leak?

The carbs themselves were leaking gas from the float bowl gaskets. All four of them. We put new gaskets on to stop the leak.

wow nice work! so how much did it cost you to fix her up and get her running? i am thinking about getting a project bike as well

The bike is running very good now. The gas leak is completely fixed and the bike is ready to ride anywhere. One thing I did notice while riding today is that the throttle is really touchy. It's like either I go as fast as I can or I don't go at all. When I hold it steady it sputters. Hoping its the 2 year old fuel and when I burn it all off it'll be smoother.
