New project.
Just picked this up over the weekend for $800. I was looking for a bike that needed work to mess around with. It was really nasty, but it cleaned up real nice. It had an issue with the clutch cable that I fixed already. Haven't been able to get it started yet though. It's been sitting for over a year.

Cool rig! One of my buddies has tried to bring one back from the dead for a while - to find out the Ignition controller is gone. Apparently a weakpoint on these old girls, and not a cheap replacement.
there's something a lot of fun about getting an oldie back on the road for very little cash and realizing that even at ~20 years old, they're still pretty damn impressive performers.

I got it started today. New battery and that's all it needed. Ran really good too. Too bad after I rode it I shut it off and found all 4 carbs were leaking gas. Derek (citybikeracing) and I tore the bike apart and found the gaskets for the float bowl covers were looking dryed out and thin so we are on the process of replacing them. Hope that does the trick.
Also, for the little bit that I got to ride it today, it hauled ***. Has a 520 chain kit that's -1 +2.

I'm going to keep it in pretty close to original condition. I have turn signals and a tailight on order. Going to put a bar end mirror on it like my cbr and get some modern tires for it. That's about it. Its in really good shape cosmetic wise, so once I get the gas leak fixed I'll be happy.
