I am so happy...been waiting for this bike for a long time. My little brother may get to ride one of my bikes after all. (Once it is added to the stable) Price I assume will be competitive with the Ninja. The Motard is $5,400 the Rebel is $4000 and the Ninja is $4200. So I will be the first to guess $4,799 as MSRP and the release date won't be till the last week of july next year.

It might look better than the 250 (debatable) but it will have to beat Kawi on performance (not happening with a thumper) or price.

If it prices over $4200 then it will not sell that well.

yeah, i was sort of hoping for an inline myself. looks more like a vfr than a cbr.

those side fairings remind me of buell...a skinnier buell....fugly imo

Ya that is what I thought of the new 1000s but change grows on ya, and now I like them.

I dunno how it'll be with this new CBR250R, but my second bike was a Hyo GT250R which was a v-twin design. Thing was a blast around corners and a full set of fairings (OEM fairings mind you) only set me back around $300 give or take.

Would have been nice to see them update one of these, four cylinder, 18,000 rpm redline, 310 lb. dry weight, not sure of the hp
