i'm afraid the hope of a new 250 cbr if not happening, I checked Honda japan and Australia with no mention on either. The 125 is available in Canada. I wish like so many others that Honda would see the value. They sell the nighthawk and Rebel. Why not a CBR?

If it isn't much smaller, I would def consider picking up a used 08+ for my next bike...
I dont own one but been looking to get my wifey a 08+ 250r so I've sat on one a few times

Its a lil less wide, more upright sittings with its bar raisers. Tires are not as wide so its appears smaller.

That's a different (older) model though -- this one is supposed to be a single cylander like the 125cc they have now.

The cbr 250 I remember was at least a parallel twin -- otherwise it wouldn't be able to compete with the kawi ex250 p2 (zx250r in some places) and no where near the zxr250 inline 4.

Lol. I kind of wished I had started off with a 250r, so when i eventually worked my way up to a 600. Not because it's harder to ride, but so I would appreciate the 600 more lol. For me, the 600 is my motorcycle benchmark. That's what I see now as the "baseline" for a motorcycle. I really can't see myself getting a 750 or a 1k though in the future... So where do I go from here? Lol. I guess i'll be a 600 rider forever

Ren you say that as if riding a 600 forever is a bad thing.

That's tight for a 250! Wonder about price/weight? Sure looks better than a Rebel!

I'm sure the power output will be modest. The thumper makes sense as it should have decent torque. The kawi will likely kill it on the top end.
