Honda cbr250r 2011 ???
I am new to the forum and I am looking to get my first bike.
I am 6'2'' 180lbs
I have been looking at the cbr250r just to learn to ride then upgrade later
I came across a 2011 cbr250r on craigslist for 3800$ I talked him down to 3000$ but I'm wondering if that is a deal or am i getting ripped off?
It has 60 mi on it
It was laid down in a ditch so it never touched the pavement, it has the original plastics on the left side and what looks to be black unpainted ones on the right.
says everything is perfect and starts up every time.
So is this the bike I should go for?

Steve,
The 2012 CBR 250 lists for $4099 (current commercials running now on tv).
KBB lists a used 2011 CBR 250 for $3,275 in EXCELLENT condition.
Used bike prices vary depending on location & availability. So, $3K isn't necessarily a bad deal but you have to take the damages into acct/consideration. IF its just the R side plastics that are aftermarket replacements & nothing else is wrong w/ it, you have to make that decision if the $275 dif is ok w/ you.
I recommend that you have the bike checked out at factory Honda shop if you're unsure of anything. The shop will do what's called a "pre-purchase inspection" which is typically about $85. You'll pay for it but it benefits both you & the seller...& is cheap insurance when you're considering spending a considerable amount.
BTW, welcome to the forum. :-)
