Need insurance advice on my wreck bike
I bought my F4i about a month ago and when I was trailering the bike home I called my insurance agent and had it added to the policy that my other bike is on. They added it and I was good to ride as soon as I wanted. I still haven't paid a dime for my insurance and only just now received a notification of upcoming bill. So my payment is not even due yet but can be paid at anytime.
Yesterday I put the bike in a ditch at 60+mph and it may be totalled. I don't have a scratch. I'd like to have the bike paid off with a check in my pocket to do whatever I want with.
I was in the middle of nowhere and was completely by myself. I don't think there was another person within a half-mile of me so witnesses or a police report are non-existant.

I have top notch coverage with one of the major GOOD companies. I don't want my rates to go up on my other bike and I may or may not choose to replace the F4i at this point.
I think that a police report may be required. Also, it wouldn't suprise me if your rates would go up.
The story would probably sound as fishy to the insurance company as it does to me.
