haha yah my buddy put 2 bikes in the back of his toyota pickup and had a buncha crap for a track day in there, and was still able to go about 90 haha with that lil 22re. i have a 4 wheel drive one, but roll bar and tire mount in the bed so i bought a trailer to pull my bike.
2005 silverado (lifted) and i get my 06 CBR1kRR in there (tailgate up)... even with longer bikes you can strap the bike down to the bed then move the rear end to one side to get more room to put up the tailgate.

Yeah I miss my 22re I ran it into a van at 45 after sliding for 100 feet. The cop offered to call a tow truck i beat the bumper of my tire and drove it 3 miles home.

yea i can fit two bikes in my s-10 also with plenty of room in the bed for gear and supplies. You just have to be crafty, and $250 FOR A RAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get the ramp heads from lowes and 2x10x16 cut it in half and you have two 8 foot ramps that are very nice for less than $40. Thats what i did at least and loading is a breeze, just get a good start and push her on up, jump into the bed as your pushing it up the ramp and pop the kickstand down, lean it over, get straps ready, put kick stand up, and strap her down, unloading is just as easy.

I have a tilt bed trailor. You just pull a pin and it tilts down like a ramp, drive on and it tilts up when the weight passes the center point, put the pin back in and your ready to go. it drives off just as easy........

Forget about something that complicated. When we need to load something with wheels into a truck we just back the truck into a hill and push or drive whatever we need in the bed down the hill into the back of the truck. :P I dunno that I'd go out and buy a truck with a tilting bed just for a bike. Plus I'm trying to go pretty small with a truck since I won't really be using it on a farm or anything. Just moving stuff around mostly. Thanks for the input guys.
I think I posted a whole thread about this with pics - but I have a ram long bed (currently in the shop after some 17 year old cut in front of me![:'(]) and it fits the f4i just fine with about 1.5 feet to spare, and the tailgate up. I also have a black widow 9 or 10 foot ramp, can't remember exactly but it works great
