Laid `er down >;(
Geez, everyones dropping like flies.
Glad it wasn't serious though, thank goodness.
I guess I'll throw out the obvious, if you know you have trouble turning right you need to put in some practice time so this doesnt happen again, in any worse way.

Sorry to hear, at least you are ok....things like this happen very often when you least expected...sometimes at slow speed, lost of balance, little sand on ground....doesn't look bad...quick fix
I almost never do slow turns in gas stations. There are so many fluids (including GAS!!!) all over the ground, I almost always go straight up to the pump and straight off of it.
Glad your alright and the bike is more or less fine. Only thing hurt was your pride.

Well .. Been there and done that (that's true for most of us).
I bought my 88 Hurricane new when I was in Mojave, Ca. I was working as -- Maint. Test Pilot on EH-60 Blackhawks for a Army contract. I bought the Hurricane to run on those long and straight roads in the high desert and it was a blast at 150 or so.
I had the bike (just) for two weeks and laid it over when I was talking to one of my friends wife. She was in her car and had a low voice and I was staining to hear her. I kept trying to hear and continued to lean the bike towards her and lost it. It was too much to handle and I had to let it go.. just too heavy. Boy was I pissed at myself and it messed the tank up a little. Yes.. it happened because she talked in a low voice and I've flown helo's for 15 years and my hearing was fried too.
So, don't feel like the Lone Ranger and move on and remember your mistakes.. I never laid a 2nd bike down.
Take Care,
Avery
