hit a bad patch of sand going 80+ and laid it down on the right side.... My bike is a Red/black 06 f4i, need the front cowl (part were the headlight goes in) and the right fairing.... someone please help haha need these asap.

I only see left side mid fairings on ebay. You could google for it in craigslist also. Or find a cycle shop that deals with used fairings, I have one in town maybe ill stop in and see if he has that color combo for you and get you a price.

 

thanks, thats kinda spendy tho... seeing as you can get all new fairings for $500... im just trying to get through it without going completely broke.

 

btw to anyone that says those lil bolt in frame sliders dont work... ill have to show you pics of my crash... i watched the bike slide on those for about 50-60ft before they finally ground down enough for the fairing to hit.

 

Are you ok? I recently went down in the same way. Broke both wrists. Lucky for me the fairings were off and the stunt cage was on. Thats for sale btw. Hope your ok and your ride gets fixed.

 

i just ordered a new oem front nose for my bike. so after its painted i'll be selling my current one. its custom painted, got a crack in it that has been repaired, just looks ugly on my show bike.

 

those 500 full fearing kits on ebay are cheap most of em atleast if there from china or hongkong dont get em you may end up redrilling holes. just try and find some nice ABS plastics. motorcycle fearings . net have em where you can get oem abs ones and pick each one and not just buy the whole kit but the side you need! theres the link hope youre ok man!

if your bike hits e.g. the sidewalk while sliding, gets airborne and lands on those frame sliders, then your frame can get cracked. that'd cost a lot more than new fairings.. im glad you're ok btw!

 

I have a guardian angel I just had a lil road rash... found one more problem with the bike. Everytime I turn it off and turn it back on it resets my clock to 1am and the trip odometer goes to 0 like it lost power... starts right away and battery hasn't died. Any ideas why its doing this?
