Finally went to court about this on Friday.....just happened to meet a family friend there who is a lawyer and was defending a couple of other people that day and he stood-in for me. The cop was fuzzy on the specifics of the stop (he even thought the zone was 55 MPH when its a 40), and basically my lawyer made a complete fool out of him. I got up on the stand, answered a few questions about whether I thought I had enough room to pass, other cars coming, etc, and the DA had no questions for me. After that, the judge declared there was no infraction and the charges were dropped (had to pay the inspection though). It was a good day.

 

haha, cops looking like fools, i dont belive it (sarcastic voice)... all i hear about all morning on mon and wed is about how right cops are all the time, and talk about "bad people" and blah blah blah, haha admj courses are such a joke...

It would probably help if you got your bike inspected and brought the inspection forms.

 

yeah it prob would have...but it still isnt inspected haha. Its away for winter now

 

Make everything very simple for the Judge. When you confuse the Judge or if he is dumber than a box of rocks it doesn't go well for you.
