It is a FREE Country, Freedom of Speech, and so on...that's why this Country is the best damn Country in the world! I didn't hear about this, but it does make me think of something...if whites say something about blacks, whoa, watch the f**k out, here comes World War 3, but if blacks say something about whites, its all fun n games. Why is that? Here in Ohio, the blacks are getting togather and trying to make the "n" word illegal to say, like if a law enforcement official hears you say it, you can either get ticketed or taken to jail, I don't think that it'd pass through Congress, but "they" believe that it will. So does that mean that if someone says the "c" word that that'd be illegal as well? This is an issue that this Country and the people in will have to just deal with until the end of times!

I'd bet my next paycheck that not one girl on the rutgers team even knew who the hell Don Imus is. After it was explained to them, and how they should be offended, now they take offense. Whatever. I am going to start an organization. An organization that is tired of the over zealous political corectness. My group will frown upon those who get butt- hurt and get emotionally stricken with the slightest provocation. No wambulance on standby in my new organization. I will call this organization........POOP...People Offended by Offended People. Thoseof uswho get offended at the lack of common sense in todays society, who get offended at everyone wanting a lawsuit payday for hurting their feelings......meet POOP! Whos with me?

I'm not a fan of Sharpton or Jackson. It seems like they make a living feeding onunfortunate happenings in the black communities. We live in a world full of double standards. Yes we have freedom of speech, but freedom of speech should not apply when on radio because you are working for an employer when you areon the air. It's the same as NBA players that voice their opinions about sexual orientation during interviews. As a NBA prof. you are representing the NBA 24/7. Both should be fired. The whole race thing stinks. People are people. There are stupid people with stupid opinions in all races. If more black people would pull there heads out of theira$$they would realize that it's not"the man is keeping them down", it's them keeping themselves down. If white people would realize that there are people of other races that are trying to succeed and better themselves rather than assuming we are all thugs relying on goverment support. Judge each person on their own merrits. It just goes to show you that we have not progressed that far as a society at all. In the state that I live in it's only been 35 years since there were still businesses not allowing blacks in. Not to mention the unofficial sundown laws that were enforced unofficially.

Lets face it! We live in a white society. We are still dominated by beliefs of the past that suggest other races are inferior. It's total B.S. but it's a numbers and history game. As other races grow stronger (it's going to take a long time) and positions of power are no longer dominated by white officials then maybe there is hope for this screwed up world.

Love your family, teach your kids how to be betterAmerican citizensthan you, and judge each person based solely upon your interactions with them.

Signed
A black man that just wants to ride and have fun with everyone.

The world is full of double standards, and whether you think it's right or wrong, there's not much you can do about it. I understand both sides of the argument, Imus went too far, but is it because of the statement or his color... I'm sure someone would get pissed off no matter who said it, but because he is white a lot more people got pissed off, is it fair, not really, but it's the way it is. I joke around with my black friends playing on their stereotypes and they do the same to me, it doesn't bother any of us, but people walking by or what not that don't know us, do act offended. My point is we don't get offended because we all know eachother, and know it's just jokes. The world we live in today may be easier for a white man to get ahead in, but it is also a world where white men constantly have to watch what they say, because any prejudice statement, be it against race, sex, religion, or creed, will damn a white man worse than anyone else.

You're right Bmoney, and that's f**ked the hell up! Yeah, and what if a black talk show person said the same thing as Imus, but towards white girls/people? You wouldn't hear a god damn thing about any of it. Nothing! Like if you're out in public or something and someone says the "n" word, everyone's looking around," Who say dat?" pulling their guns out or running to get their homies, but if someone says the "c" word or whatever, everyone's laughing and doesn't think anything about it. People get mad, but it's okay for them to call eachother that (the "n" word)? I don't listen to rap, unfortunately my ex did, and they say that word in like every sentence...but that's okay if they say that to eachother, etc., because they/that's cool right? I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's what the Bill of RIghts are for correct? Hello, the 1st Amendment...A buddy of mine works at Best Buy, at the entrance/exit. Because of the high thefts taking place, they check EVEYONES receipt as they walk out the door. I went to meet him there while he was working one day, we were going riding afterwards, well, he happened to be checking a black persons, ooops, I mean an african American's receipt. He had threats thrown at him from the gentleman and his homie g's,"Wat dog u chekin my papa cuz im black?" Ummm, no, he was checking your receipt, following proper procedure. If someone gets stopped at the door, or pulled over, or arrested, whatever the case maybe, it's because of their color right? Yeah, this world is crazy, but it'll never change.
