I ride motorcycles because...
People ride for different reasons...relaxation...to look cool...
What do you ride for? What makes you sling a leg and ride?
Personally, I ride:
1. Because it's fun.
2. The acceleration, the better cornering skills than almost any publicly sold car.
3. The danger of going fast on occasion, zipping through traffic, racing another cyclist.
4. The danger...the thrill period.

RE: I ride motorcycles because...
I'm weird and think that bikes are alive and have a soul. Whenever I go out for a little one-on-one time with my moto-companion, I feel lucky and amazed that something so spirited and fast seems to enjoy it too. Solo time in the helmet with an empty road is pretty hard to beat--makes me forget all about the bad decisions I might have made that day...usually.

great topic!
- adrenaline rush
- stress reliever
- a dangerous "hobby" i guess you'd call it, that not many choose to do or CAN do (cant pass test for license), like being apart of an elite group of risk takers that have such a love for riding even though they know the risks involved.
-feeling of being free. its what i told my g/f when she first started riding....its the little things, like when do you stop at a light and touch the highway when in you're car? never! little things like that i thought were just cool when i first started riding!
and finally.....
-KIDS! i love being next to a car at a light or riding and looking over to see some kid barely able to see out the window looking at me w/ amazement......then a quick rev of the bike and their face lights up w/ the biggest smile! or something as simple as waving at them, and getting a wave or a look back like you just made that kids DAY!
