RE: How do you like...hot or cold?
believe it or not, i like riding in the winter...i don't know...there's something about it....
winter in chicago is wierd...i don't know quite how to describe...it seems so "sterile"....not as much going on outside...very very bright, but not sunny....it's sort of feels desolate....at least to me it does....and riding in that with my headphones, just me and the road in the city (or on the outskirts)....just a very cool feeling.....

I hate the winter! I've been born and raised up here in Wisconsin and have already grown to hate the winter. When I was young, it was all fun to take my trucks and play in the snow piles but now I have to make snow piles and walk thru drifts that get my pants wet as well as my shoes. I have to use resources to keep my place warm and even then I catch a damn chill. If I’m stranded outside in the summer I can find some shade and relax and think of a game plan, in the winter…I better be moving and making good judgment because if I comes down to sitting still, I’ll be drifting off to a deadly dream and never wake up. My bike becomes useless and all the cars around my area turn into junk over time because the road salt makes them rust away. Oh! And that makes me remember trying to pry my damn car doors open when a warm 30s day turns into a cold *** night and my car door FREEZE SHUT!!! That’s not including the five minutes that I have to take cleaning the ice off the car windows. The roads…how can I forget the slippery, non stoppable, ice/snow covered roads!! Although it is fun to e-brake drift thru some corners and such, it sucks driving on winter roads.
I must say though, I do enjoy taking my quad out on the snowmobile trails when their nice and packed down, and racing around on a frozen lake with that same quad with studded tires is pretty awesome too.
I myself enjoy summer weather the most because I spend most the winter wishing the summer were tomorrow. Either extreme sucks, heat and humidity or sub zero dryness…I have to go with the heat and humidity because I can always start up the bike and go for a nice cruse to chill down.

P.S. I almost forgot about the fact that water expands when it turns solid…hence I had to replace my damn lower end of my boat motor this year!

I HATE winter. Minnesota winters...midwest winters...winters...sucks ****! PERIOD!
I love sweating in the 3 digit CA andTX sun. I love it when the sweats drip off my tanned and hardened body. I love going shirtless. I love being butt naked out under the sun.
The good 'ol days are gone.
I'm fat, white, and depressed in this midwestern season of winters. With the seasons comes the reminders of not happy days gone by or happy days to come.
With the changing seasons all I'm reminded of is my aging days.
Under the sun it felt like I'd be young forever. The airfeels cleaner, people are cheerier, and so was I.

I hate Winter. Florida has always been on my list. I love the Fall because that's perfect golf weather. As far as riding, I'll ride in the cold, but prefer 65+ just so the tires will stick somewhat decent. I don't mind 90+ degree days when I'm in the gear riding. Yeah, it's hot, but you get used to it after awhile and the tires stick great. So, I guess that I like pretty much anything other than Winter.

and for all you southerners that never have a fall, you have no idea how beautiful it is when the leaves change color and it's just cool enough to wear a sweatshirt and jeans and have a hot cup of coffee and feel comfortable...there's nothing like it...

That's exactly why it's good that everybody has their own tastes .. it's already too crowded here and it would be even worse if everyone liked heat.
We actually do get all 4 seasons here but I prefer the longer warm periods. We still get the fall sweater/coffee/changing leave colors etc... but the brutal cold is much shorter ... YAY!!!

but even then, seeing as i like snowboarding and doing inside stuff....winter is perfect...aves change color and it's just cool enough to wear a sweatshirt and jeans and have a hot cup of coffee and feel comfortable...there's nothing like it...

depends which is more appealing to you; in south warmer places people tend to be a bit more laid back and live at a slower pace and in north colder climates like New York everyone walks and talks faster with more of a purpose to get the fack out of the cold [8D]

this is not talking about the perfect 75 with a nice light breeze, sunny, but not blinding...we don't live in a perfect world...

I think that's the weather forecast in San Diego year round
