Having a bike means your always in the wrong!

I don't understand either. Its not like we are invisible and then BAM jump out in front of your car when you aren't looking. Its every man for himself, you have to watch ALL around you. ever since I've started riding street I have been looking to my sides CONSTANTLY when I'm walking. People must think I'm crazy.

Anytime I am riding or stopped I am always checking me mirrors. I have to know at all times who or what is around me. The difficulty in that is when cranking it around corners, twisties etc, that is when I don't have the luxury to be looking anywhere but where the bike is going. Funny thing is, when you are involved in cornering is when you notice out of the corner of your eye that a cager is within say 2-3 feet of you in the adjacent lane as you are reaching the apex of your curve. Then it gets scary. This has happened to me on more than one occasion.

oh yeah and total bs cop for the OP. personally i would just let them hit me and sue for being a dumbass, especially on a NEW car.

I have had a couple similar situations, including one last week where a minivan (of course) stopped ahead of me and then started backing up to parallel park. The best thing to do is react, instead of trying to have them hear you and then reacting.
I feel your pain though....I think we all do.
