Default WTF, what is wrong with my bike?

I have a 2004 Honda CBR1000rr. I have had oil leak problems since February. I have taken it to one shop, who screwed it all up and then I took it back to them and they screwed it up again. The next shop, PCola Motorsports seemed to have fixed it, then it did the same thing again. I ride it either for about 30 minutes or hard for a few minutes and then when I come to a stop, like at a stoplight, as I am sitting there idling, I hear a fairly loud clunk sound and a whole bunch of smoke comes out from the under gas tank area. The smoke smells like oil and the sound is about twice as loud as downshifting into first gear at a standstill. What worries me, is that when I was troubleshooting a few months back, my bike actually caught on fire. I am not seeing any oil leaking right now, but I am not going to ride the thing anymore until I hear of a good fix.
Does anyone know what possilbly could be wrong with this thing? I appreciate any help you could give me.

Remove the fairings and look at every spot where there is a gasket or maiting surface for a leak. If you think you found it remove all of the oil that leak and put baby powder aroun the area and run the bike and wait for a wet spot on the powder.

Do you know how the oil leaks started back in Feb? Did you buy it in Feb?
Define "screwed it up"
When PCola "fixed it" what did they claim to have fixed?
Does this bike have a bad history? i.e. crashes.
Pics would help.

Help us help you.
