how fast do you usually go during weekend and/or group rides?
(I mean average speed you like to do, preferably on motorways)

 

Average gotta be over 80 average, mostly twisties i try and stay away from motorways there boring.

 

that's true mate, though I would really love to ride the CBR on the M62 just once. Its a pity I didnt have it back then . Used to live in Liverpool for about 7 years. Returned to Greece in 2001..

 

Can't go much over about 60 MPH where I am at. When I got with friends we usually go through a local nature area with some nice views. Not many twisty roads around me......

 

depends on how big your group is....if it's 5-6 people who are experienced riders of course you would be up in the twisties at 70 + ... If you haver over 10 i'm sure that the speed will be a steady pace at 60-70. Some of the more experienced in that group may rip it and wait...and it all depends on how the group rides and who's leading..

 

Agree with REV. Depends on the group. With newbies it's even down to 50 or 60. But we've had rides where it was all experienced riders and the average speed is usually 95. All back roads with lots of sweepers.

 

It depends on where were riding and who were riding with. I generally ride better alone or with a smaller group.

 

i try and stick to smaller groups of similar riders. the group is only as fast as the slowest rider. and smaller groups of 3-4 draw less attention from the boys in blue.
