Default Ever had 'One of Those Rides'...

Where everything is going swimmingly. You have a good ride, good food, and as you head home, you notice that your coolant is leaking from around an o-ring and you're 3 hours from home...

And you happen to notice the leak while @ a Walmart... a Walmart with a Honda dealer 200 feet up the road who happens to still be in business (Brockton Cycle Center closed last week for those in Eastern MA). This one Honda dealer who says they don't have the o-ring in stock (and why should they?) but they have the generic set of o-rings and have one that matches! And it's on the house!

All I had to do was drain enough coolant, pop the connector on the cylinder head, clean the surfaces (very messy with a melted o-ring) and pop the new o-ring in and top off the coolant.

So props to Valley Powersports in North Hampton MA just off I-91

Good luck as to your location and great customer service from that dealer! Maybe that's why they're still in business. Word of mouth (or in this case fingers) is the best advertising there is imo. Good stuff.

Just goes to show that there are still some dealers that aren't just after the dollar but are actually out there because they love bikes. It's easy to see where you're going next for your parts. Well done!!

I was so happy that they had what I needed (and let me dump a couple of cups of coolant in their lot - don't tell them!) that I went back in and found the parts guy who helped me.. and with my still slimy fingers, handed him a $20 and told him the case of beers tonight was on me

Take the mobile number of that parts guy - at least you found one you can trust !!!!
And here's a small helping hand for the dealership.
