Well... I just came back from the dealer. they were going to put a patch-plug on it, but the hole was too close to the sidewall (about 2/3 of the way from centerline to sidewall) and the tire had deformed slightly (once I put the plug to get it to the shop, the place where the hole was had bulged out slightly)

So I ended up getting a new Battlax BT014 for about $116 plus $35 to install, and high speed balance. I went for a 50 mile ride afterwards to burn off the release compound from the new tire. [8D]
