According to the MSF course, even if the temperature changes only 10 degrees (even if it's 70 degrees out), you can still get a form of hypothermia that causes disorientation, light headiness, dizziness, etc. I got some of this when we were riding up the pass a few months ago. The temp changed from 85 to 65 in the span of about 10 minutes and I remember feeling a little light headed. Pulled over, walked around a little bit and I was fine. I'll scan the tid-bit in the RidersEdge course manual when I find it and post it up here for all to read.

I would really see a doctor or an optometrist at the very least. You may have an eye problem and this is a trigger.

so i was riding back on the freeway today from a quick ride. we had a unusually cool day (looked like it was going to rain.. and just 2 days ago it was 106!) and i was doing about 70-75 mph but the wind was just beating me up so i was fully tucked and all the sudden i started to feel very disoriented. im not on the freeway alot or anyother place where i need to ride fully tucked so i dont know if this is a normal feeling ?

by disoriented i mean i was feeling a lil light headed. even though i was looking staright ahead of me my visionblured, and when i sat up i felt fine. it was only feeling weird when i was tucked in (*** all the way back, legs locked into the tank and helmet belwo the windshield but not tocuhing the gas tank yet)
You might have circulation problems. I dunno...that's odd.

The first time you tuck in and look through the windscreen, especially on any sport bike made past 1985, it will feel strange, but should not make you feel lightheaded.

Weird.

My first thought was to ask if you have a gut. Its more than likely a blood pressure issue caused by compressing your midsection when you tuck.

ive honestly considered this situation and quite honestly could be the problem (family history of HBP) but i didnt have the same problem when i tried it without my jacket.

oh well i guess i need to just get my lazy **** off the bike and hit the tread mill instead ! haha

That usually only happens when I'm exercising a part of my body............

Probably a blood rush from sitting up, then going low. They blows my head around like a bobble head so I get head aches accasionally.
