Angry Freakin' Bike Fell over last night!

So I went to let the dog outside to use the bathroom. While standing out there I decide to check to make sure that my bike cover didn't blow off due to all the strong winds we were getting. Looked over the railing to my back yard and my F***in bike is laying on the ground. Checked out the damage nothing majorly wrong, "EXCEPT FOR ONE OF THE BRAND NEW FRIGGIN MIRRORS I PUT ON BROKE OFF ON THE SIDE THAT IT FELL!?!?!?!? Another 70$ right there that I don't have........ FTL

That's some strong wind man....mother nature...is there a wall close by? If there is, likely if you park next to the wall with your kickstand outward....bike may not fall but rather rest on wall?

Bad luck. Most people turn the front wheel left with the side stand, but if you turn the wheel to right, then its less likely to go over.

Nah.... The wind wasn't the only factor! I forgot to put my little metal sheet under the kick stand for when it rains. Kick stand sunk in the dirt and the wind helped tip her over. Man I'm still pissed off... lol I called the company that I bought the mirrors from and they may ship me a new one. Not sure if I'll have to pay again or not... but that's a plus though!

I had the wheel locked all the way to the left also... I always lock my wheel!! don't like the neighborhood that I am in.... lot of bikes get stolen here. I hate a thief BTW.

Took the bike apart today to change the plugs before I start it up after the fall..... I noticed that a little bit of oil was running out of the throttle body boot.... Throttle bodies 1 & 2 were filled to the top with oil!!! As I dug deeper into it..... Pretty much all of the vaccum lines on the side that it fell were full!! slowly getting all of the oil that is in everything out. Guess I'm going to check my valve clearences while I have everything apart! Never again will I let my bike fall over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
