I have never had a problem with that disease. I had the goldfish in the tank to cycle it before I put the red bellies in. Usually they feed on bloodworms and brine shrimp. I planted some live plants with vermiculite and peat moss to help with the levels as well as a bio wheel powerhead and a diatom filter.

-j/kred bellies make great pets,just cant abuse them!!-i always refered to them as the "water dogs"
it was like having a pair of labs-but,in a fish tank
keep posting pics/vids of them,too cool!!!
