PC gaming? People still do that these days??

PC gaming is the only way to go. Even on my, "weak" new system (Athlon 64 3000+, 2G DDR, X-Fi and 6800GT PCIe... soon to be SLi!), the graphics are still better than my buddies 360 or PS3. And on top of that I'm not limited to console-specific games. I haven't found one game that I want that isn't available on PC.

Schira, your *** is mine! Even with my 10 month hiatus I received two gold stars last night... on 64 player maps. The was almost an entire clan on the MEC side as well.

I'm getting ready to load the MOH:Airborne demo. I'm not sure how it's going to work though. I've got a widescreen resolution (37" LCD ) in windows so I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. Any ideas? Or does MOH:A have a widescreen hack yet? Prolly not if it's just the demo but you never know...
u do know the xbox 360 video runs at 500MHz and the 6800 runs at 400MHz.. and the ps3 @ 550MHz

EDIT on the widescreen thing is fine i played it in widescreen and it was fine. just run a widescreen res.

Speed isnt always the part that kicks another hardware's ***. I can run a slower graphics card and have more piplines and woop a faster speed card with fewer piplines.

SLi games. Which games support it? The only game I've seen that has an option in its menu is Call of Duty 2.

I have two BFG 7800gt's that work very nicely together and I can pump up the juice in them if need be.

My pc stats: everything is stock speeds and cpu is water cooled.

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 (running 2.6Ghz, 1mb L2)

RAM: (2 sticks) OCZ 1 gig ddr400 running 2-3-2-5

Mobo: Asus A8N-SLi nVIDIA nForce4 SLi

Graphics: (2x) BFG 7800GT 256mb ddr3 ram, running 425MHz core/1.05GHz memory

Sound: Creative SB X-Fi

Monitor: LG L196WTQ widescreen (using digital input). 3000:1 contrast and 2ms pixel response time. This is a kick *** 19" WS for gaming.

Storage: (1) WD 500GB ATA and (1) WD 300GB ATA, both 7200rpms. People dont think harddrives are important, but the faster they are, the faster they'll start and run a program.

OS: XP pro

PSU: OCZ 600watt with 4 12v rails. Another thing people dont think is important, the power supply.

Sorry. I'm bored.

i believe super commander, oblivion, two worlds, and all the upcomming games are SLI supported..
anything that takes alot of graphics will probbly be SLI.. especially when higher resolution screens are comming out too.

any game supports it if its recent, but some wont take advantage and will possibly decrease performance.

I know that. Just wondering which ones actually do use is like the Phyx card. I might get one of those if it make MOD: airborne look better.
