I aint paying $600 to play that game. Looks good, but too expensive.
yeah...but you probably pay twice that amount for a Plasma TV to watch your soap operas.

You leave Victor out of this. [:'(]

PC gaming is the only way to go. Even on my, "weak" new system (Athlon 64 3000+, 2G DDR, X-Fi and 6800GT PCIe... soon to be SLi!), the graphics are still better than my buddies 360 or PS3. And on top of that I'm not limited to console-specific games. I haven't found one game that I want that isn't available on PC.

Schira, your *** is mine! Even with my 10 month hiatus I received two gold stars last night... on 64 player maps. The was almost an entire clan on the MEC side as well.

I'm getting ready to load the MOH:Airborne demo. I'm not sure how it's going to work though. I've got a widescreen resolution (37" LCD ) in windows so I'm not sure how I'm going to do it. Any ideas? Or does MOH:A have a widescreen hack yet? Prolly not if it's just the demo but you never know...

I haven't found one game that I want that isn't available on PC.

u do know the xbox 360 video runs at 500MHz and the 6800 runs at 400MHz.. and the ps3 @ 550MHz

EDIT on the widescreen thing is fine i played it in widescreen and it was fine. just run a widescreen res.

just FYI http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu_20...&chart=424

if you would upgrade your AMD toAMDX26000+ (probbly have to upgrade your MB to) but the frame-rates speak for themselves.. your 3000+ only pumps out 51FPS on Quake 4, where 6000+doubles that with a huge 105.2FPS.
6000+ is only like $159 upgrade too. If you know how to Overclock, I wouldnt go with AMD (intel is better for the price).

also SLI is awesome - some games will be able to use SLI (i heard some still dont) but maybe upgrade to dual NVDA GTS's or just have a single GTS. you got enough RAM right now (seems like 4G's is overdoing it till direct x10 becomes more available to games)

my future system is:

[ul][*]EVGA 122-CK-NF68-T1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard[*]EVGA 768-P2-N881-AR GeForce 8800Ultra 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card (will buy second card later on)[*]Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor (Watercool it, and O/C it to over 3.5 *if it's G0 stepping* ill try over 4.0ghz)[*]OCZ Flex XLC 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory (good for W/C again)[*]Western Digital Raptor X WD1500AHFD 150GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive (faster CPU, need fast H-Drive) (2x)[/ul]
still dont know about monitor wise, thinking about doing 3 screens with 1600x1200 per (CHIMEI CMV 221D-NBC Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 330 cd/m2 800:1)
if not, i'll just pick up a 2650x1600 30' monitor - that's the max resolution a video card can handle right now.

this guy is using GTX's SLIon maxed out screen - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpJeIlG_NXA..

but if your just looking to upgrade kidcr3nshaw, i would just throw a couple hundred at it - the CPU and GPU seem to be bottlenecking your gaming experience.
