Captain Thread Stealer -

It was. I recently sold it, but it still holds a place dear to my heart. That thing was a monster. It would take 20+ lbs of boost and not even flinch. It was my daily drivenproject for about 5 years, during which time I think I upgraded every single part on the car, lol. I, too, have a love for turbo rotary power. There is nothing like hearing your wastegate scream in pain at 9000 RPM.
so I guess i may as well continue my own little sub thread (maybe i'll start my own called "previous cars" or something) but yes, I have had two RX-7's, both were NA. My very first car was an 87 base 2+2 with the phone dial wheels, that sucker had 210k miles when i bought it and i sold it after i banged up the suspension on a curb when it had about 230k miles. my 3rd car was an 84 gsl-se with 95k miles on it, it was also very very quick, i would bounce it off the rev limiter every time i got in it and all it ever wanted to do was go faster

I have since gotten a job (those were my high school / college projects) and now i have the bike and a new truck so no extra cash, but i figure in the next few years i'll pick up a 3rd gen and mod the crap out of it fast and furious style (minus the dumb decals on the car, i love a sleek look). if anybody else here has had an rx-7 they would understand why previous owners love that car. ::sigh:: i miss rotary power, it's awesome.

I starting reading that post, and I accidentally made stinky...it could have been brain matter, though.
