I get a couple of em wave to me every once in awhile, most of em are pretty good folks, but like anything, theres bound to be a few ****** in there somewhere. one of my closest friends rides a harley, of course he's one of the nicer guys too. there are some people I wouldnt ride with if you gave me a million bucks, but there are a few who despite being on harleys, I'd ride with.

 

I dunno.... I was in my hotel waiting to head out to Deals Gap. Had my helmet and jacket sitting on the chair next to me in the lobby while I watched the weather on TV and the wife slept in late.

Couple of Harley dudes eating breakfast in the kitchen area. As I stand up to leave, I pick up my jacket (Joe Rocket leather Honda) and one guy says "Oh, I was gonna ask you what you ride, but I see now".

I sez, yah, the Honda kinda give it away.

The other Harley dude says: Lemme guess - you ride a crotch rocket.

I say yep.

He says you guys all dress alike.

I stand there and look at him in his vest with all the pins on it, chaps, and doo-rag and say: yep, you Harley guys are all unique - and turn around to leave.

All I hear is his buddy spitting his coffee out as he busts a gut laughing.

That guy never looked me in the eye the rest of my stay.

It must be a requirement when you buy a harley to rev the **** out of it at every chance you get. That and the horrible clutch control these riders have is hilarious. BUT thank god for those idiots because I'm making a killing on harley stock!!

 

i just dont understand the "brain buckets" it must be because they hardly go fast at all. because when im riding @ like 40-50 mph and the wind is blowing in my face sometimes it sucks so i flip my visor down and everythign is good. with those things they wear it must be annoying not to mention i couldnt begin to imagine someone going down with one of those on ! but on the flip side when i see sport cruisers with full face helmets like we wear it looks funny haha .. oh well to each his own
