Dreaming of Riding in the Alps...
Hi all,
My wife and I are thinking of a tour in the Alps and the Pyrenee in 2007/8.
Sorry for the lack of details. Edelweis tour is around $3650 for a single rider on a honda bike and
around $3900 for a BMW 650 - twin room. Tour includes all the route info, breakfasts, tour guide, van
to carry all the stuff and accomodation.
Anyone have any good or bad experiences to share? Its a pretty pricey tour, but perhaps the
easiest way to get 7-9 days riding around the area. Anything you'd like to share about riding in the area, must see areas,
best time of year, best company etc would be great. Even just some encouragement that its worth the money would help...
