Looking to the brady campaign for gun info is like looking for a beef recipe on PETA.

Well, it's decided. I went with the S&W 642 model that I linked to in my first post (.38 cal). I went into the local shop and the guy had it there. At first I was going to have him order the 640 (.357 model), but he sold me on this model. He says all the cops in town are carrying this in their boot. He just happened to carry this modelpersonally(had it inhis pants in fact). I take my course this Saturday and after my backgroung check I'll be Vigilante Joe...move over Charles Broson, there's a new kid in town . Please continue the conversation, though.

I cant believe no one said the springfield xd. I have the 9. It has won numerous gun of the year awards and replaces the navy seals sig. It also passes military melt down sand and water specs. I dont personally like glocks like everyone on here says. Only because they are so popular because cops wanted to chang and glock said if they changed they would come out with a gun undetacable by metal dectors. Convinced alot of forces to go back to glock.

Not saying you are wrong, but the brady bunch will spin a rule in thier favor to get thier point across. It would be like looking up motorcycle safety statistics from some 2 wheel hating anti rider group and posting up. For laws, packing.org is a great easy to use site, as for the brady campaign, I guess thier Ok if you don't mind people who want to limmit, better yet takeyour rights as a law-abiding citizen. Sorry for the rant, Havoc, you were not incorrect, just didn't portray the full scoop. Didn't mean to come across that way.
