The 8800 is probably bigger. The 7000 series is over a year old.

yea..ive heard the 8800gtis rediculously long...How does his card compare to the 8800gt??In its hayday pretty much the same??

Yeah, but the 7950GX2 is a dual GPU with 512MB DDR3 per GPU. It is essentially a single-slot SLI; it was designed for Quad-SLI. My buddy has dual 8800s and they are the same size as mine. IDK how, but they managed to keep the 7950gx2 the same size as a typical PCIe card.

the GT is a **** load faster in benchmarks. You need a 8800 or Radeon 2900 to play games like Crysis at a decent graphics setting and get 30+ FPS.

Well, any benchmarks you would like me to run? I ran quite a few to see what the FPS was, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. If you want to see how it compares, just let me know. I'm more than eager to see what she can do.

BTW, I just built this system, so I am still a little amped up on it.

Yeah, it looks like my card is a little aged. Oh well, I got it for free and it runs COH and BF2 great. What are you running Nauree?
