Sorry for the cold weather you guys get, we don't get too much of it down here in NM. It still maintains 70 degrees, even in Mid-December. The nights get very brisk at best. I rode my bike all the way through winter last year and I was fine with it. As long as you have a leather jacket, thermals and a good set of gloves and a balaclava, you're fine.

I'm sure he didn't. Down south the colder months don't come until Jan-Mar.

Oh, no no no. The nights will get flipping cold! Last winter (end of December, early January) the days would be a nice 55-70-ish, but the nights would dip down to the low 30's sometimes. THAT"S when I would wear my cold weather gear. I just kept it in a backpack with me.

Leaving for work this morning was 48°F and the other guys who ride asked me if I'm going to keep riding as it gets colder. There is no fall and spring here in central VA, just winter and summer, it goes from freezing one day in April to hotter-than-Hell, then back to freezing in October.
October is the real beginning of riding season in Florida because the rest of the year is too bloody hot to ride fully geared, when the noobs come out.

Going to be in the low 60s this weekend, beautiful weather for riding IMO.
But yeah, the cold is coming...........[:'(]

And HAVOC you think the weather changes daily in Cali?
WHo are you crappin'
Hell in Chi-town that's one of the phrases we use here because it ACTUALLY happens.
Cold front comes thru and temp drops 15-20 degress in a few hours, somtimes a few minutes!!
I used to live in Stockton,Cali and the weather was so predictable it got kinda boring...
Gotta love the midwest weather!!!![sm=massbounce.gif]

It has been cold all week and overcast. I am thinking about moving to VA to get away from the weather.
