People here in san diego are spoiled. its been low 60's high 50s in the AM and evening...still warm compared to other parts of the country...but all the other riders here at work have been rocking the 4 wheel look lately. The other day, one of the guys in my department said I was 'hardcore' because I ride every day...
I also discovered a new way of checking the weather forecast:
If I see the 3 gixxers in the parking lot at work, I know the weather is going to be bright and sunny...probably warm-ish or fairly hot.
If I see only 1 gixxer, I know the weather will be somewhat cold.
If all I see is my CBR, I know for a fact it going to be cold as hell, possibly wet, or both.

People from cali are funny. Imet Jason Britton at the Prostar drag event at Atco two weeks ago and he was complaining about being cold and it was like 60+ out. I personally love cold weather. i can always wear more layers, but in the summer I'm not gonna go ride around in a beater and shorts just cause its hot. And I HATE sweating, unless I'm running or lifting or doing something that your supose to sweat while doing.
Yeah it was down right hot here on the weekend and on Monday, but the past few days have been cold-yesterday was cold. I don't mind when it's cooler out since I alway have my gear on so in alot of ways it feels better to me. I am not going to put the bike away for winter. I am just going to keep her up and running and if I can I will ride even if it's for a few miles here and there.
it was like 50 with a cold wind today, burr. i wear more gear when its cold too, i started slacking some towards the end of summer with gearing up. When its hot its too easy to just say screw it and toss on the helm and gloves and go.. bad i know. gonna try to ride through the winter here as long as it's above freezing...
