Our local financial guru (Clark Howard) drives a scooter that gets 150mpg and hits 55mph. And I think he picked it up for a few grand.

I see scooters everywhere when I hit downtown Atlanta. They are pretty cool too. They can whip around easily and get into some odd places that my bike couldn't dream of.

I don't really wave to anyone unless I'm on a long boring road that I've been on for a while. That is regardless if they are on a Harley, Scooter, Stretched Busa, or my exact same bike. I don't share some kind of special bond with them because I decided to buy a motorcycle. Odds are I'll hate them as much as I hate other people without bikes.

 

/\ Yeah, but its a brotherhood thing that we try to look out for each other. Albeit, you are right, I bet just as many idiots own bikes as do not, because you just can't fix stupid by buying a bike.

 

When I get my 49cc pocket bike the only gear Im wearing is a smoke and a bottle of XX... Dont want thatLid or jacket weighing down my wheelies[8D]
