Whatever CBR Jockey, nobody wants to sit and listen to peoples' personal problems on this forum anyway. Why the hell would he even say hes having trouble "coming up with money to fix his bike" if its not a cry for financial help? I don't trust people, and I even have a hard time beleiving Blindin needed that money for his repo guy. (sorry if that's actually what you used the money towards, but I doubt it)

I have given people money in their time of need, but need to fully understand the problem and know they're telling the truth first.

I saw a guy in our town, standing on the side of the street, with a sign saying "will work for food" about a year ago. I felt bad for him, so going through the drive-thru at mcdonalds, I bought him a double cheeseburger, and brought it back to him. I even got out of my car, and walked up to him. I handed him the bag of mcdonalds with his burger that I bought him in it, and he proceeded to tell me he "doesnt like ketchup" and didnt want it. I was so pissed.

And- Ihad this guy and gal (who had a VERYYYYY convincing story) come up to me and my old gf with these papers that said 'Mayo Clinic' all over them, with writing. He told me his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, and they needed money to help pay medical bills. I gave him a $50 bill, and read in the paper a week later they were busted for fraud. I have a hard time trusting people nowadays, and think that it was...quote me here... "absolutely amazing" what everyone did for BlindinOrange, and congratulate everyone for coming together and helping him, YET in the back of my mind im thinking he's using this money to pay off the bike, and sit back and enjoy the free money coming in.
EZ there AAnderson. Do you seriously think Blindin pulled one over on us? It was our chioce to help! If you didn't that was fine also. We did this in the hopes of helping out someone. If he spent the money to pay his mortgage that is good also. Now the bum, he has chosen his life style and you gave him a hamburger with ketchup on it, well he doesn't like ketchup. Maybe you should of asked him if he wanted anything from McDonalds first. He may prefer Taco Bell...The breast cancer girl "YOU JUST GOT SCREWED"

Now I didn't take JD's post as "send me money" I took it like "life sucks and this is why" Im sure all your posts will be scrutinized for hidden meanings now cause I feel your looking for a way to get donations I j/k but EZ on hitting below the belt when someone is looking for advice.

Its also funny your the only one out of three pages of replies thinks that way.

So AA is so upset at being taken by charity scams, time and again (we're from the Mayo clinic, honest! lol), that he blazes in here and kicks a man in the ***** when he's down...then smears monkey feces all over BO in the same breath. Hmmm...I've heard of this before, it's uh, what do you call that...projection. Where you try to make yourself feel better by hanging your own issues on someone else. How does it go, oh yeah, here it is: the attribution of one's own attitudes, feelings, or desires to someone or something as a naive or unconscious defense against axiety or guilt. Face it Neo, you'll always trust people a little too much, so come down from your angry-horse and realize that it was only a cheeseburger. It'll be alright.

AAnderson...thank you for your membership. Can you help me? I have this guy from Nigeria who wants to send me a million bucks, but I don't have a checking account. Can he use yours? It will be cool, and we can split the money....

I come back to check on this thread and what do I find it's been jacked and a lynching committee has been formed with official sanctioning hey don't mind me, you know I can't cast the first stone. I have done far worse around here but what is he truly guilty of admitting he has trust issues and he got taken himself and is now a cynic or are we lynching him for refusing to cave inhell, you know, I don't care give me the damn rope AND STAND BACK
now
Is he flame baiting? MAYBE Do I agree with what he said hell no would I have went after him. Yes, but he did stand down. When told by a moderator to do soJust keep that in mind

JD, I can't tell you anything, but the truth...

Things will be hard.

They may not get better.

They may even get worse.

But if you give up now, then you'll never have a chance to see if they get better.
