Cant believe it, the xb is my dream bike. Regardless of Buell being shut down Im still going to chase the dream.

I know some of you may think im a bit strange for wanting a Buell but in my eyes they're a weapon.

Erik Buells talent is going to be wasted at Harley. He's a forward thinking man in a backwards styled company.

I might get flamed,, but I agree with you. There are some Buell bikes I think that look unique, and that is what I like about them.Sure they maybe only as fast as a 600RR but how much power does a person need on the street ( I do own a 125R ).For me it is the low end torque that appeals to me. I don't like the cruiser styling of a Harley but a big twin is appealing.

I won't miss Buell one bit. They have to run a 1000+ cc bike in a 600 class to be competitive. How could anyone want the street version.

Not flaming, just saying.

This seems the main point everyone keeps banging on about and its getting a bit tiring tbh. I dont want a Buell for racing and Im well aware of the power output on their engines. Their litre xb puts out slightly less than my 600 does now and thats all the power I need at this point.

Once you get over the racing and take a proper look at the bike. You might notice its pretty advanced with alot of first's that company's will most likely and have already adapted to their bikes.

If you were to line up the big brand's street styled bikes along side the Buell, would you honestly dismiss the Buell like you have in your post?

I hope Erik buell moves to KTM or atleast a company that'll get the most out of him. I cant see him staying long with Harley.
