I was just shown this new bike by a buddy at work. He’s in the market for a nice bike and as found himself liking this one. From what I have found on the Buell site, this looks like one hell of a competitive bike! Looks nice (front end reminds me of the 600RR) and is sure to have more than enough power. Of course, being the Honda fan that I am, I recommended a cheaper used liter class Honda (954, 1000…) which he doesn’t oppose.

So let’s hear it…anyone know the good/bad of this 1125R?

 

they had quite the writeup in one of the bike mags a month or two ago (I believe it was motorcyclist). They said all around it was a nice bike, but nothing that could compete with a honda, kawi, etc.

What do you expect from the same company that manf a harley?

Buell has a Rotax motor now. That alone makes it worth looking at. I like the looks of it, but I'd still buy Jap.

Actually I was at the Harley dealership the other day and I liked it it felt nice and light I might go back for test ride they said I could so you never know........ I realy dont like Harleys but willing to give it a chance... or at least take it for a free ride.

 

The front is hidious. It looks like somthing off of Pinky and the Brain....

 

It looks fine until you get to see a picture of it, lol. No really, I like most of how it looks, except that hideous upper.

 

Buell hasn't had a great reputation. You would think at some point they would get it right.
