For all you guys who use Paypal when buying on either Ebay or the web (companies that have Paypal as a means of paying them), use your credit card instead of your Paypal balance. If you are not old enough to have a CC, have you parents use theirs. That way if there is a problem (up to 6 months or more after the sale, unlike Paypals 45 days) you will get a refund from the CC company.

 

Well i have a debit card but he was an individual and i doubt he could process it that easy lol. PayPal was the easiest way for us both... But yeah I understand what you mean. I opened a PayPal dispute/claim and they tried to retrieve money from him but he wiped out everything.... I'm just glad i finally got it back!

 

This is a really great story all. I wish that fukner in Canada would of ended up getting his. I lost 1500 in a western union transaction. Was supposed to be a down payment on a loan for my bike.

Was young and didn't know any better at the time.

idk know all the details or what YOUR state laws are but from the way u described this issue (which all US states are VERY similiar) u agreed to pay him for this exhaust and he agreed to send it to u if u sent him money and he did not send the exhaust it would not be considered a theft it would be considered a civil issue which is why the cops by u didnt do anything about...small claims court as u said u would have to go to is a CIVIL court not a criminal one so...and ya i dont think scully and molner would take ur case lol...its good to hear u got ur money back becuase if u did not ud be pritty much SOL...glad it worked out for u though man!

i just want to comment on this...this is the 1st time i had an issue...i never meant for any of this to go this far...it was a sure mistake but i did refund the money and im sorry for all the aggrivation i cause to you mathew and your family
