Uh oh! I think I like bikes.
Just bought a 1988 cbr600f before i even new how to ride.
I entered the Illinois safe rider program and have next weekend to complete two more five hour sessions then i will receive my license three weeks later. I cannot wait to start riding.
I live in the south subs of Chicago.
Anyone around me? Anyway im new to the site... any words of wisdom? about anything including my bike?

Welcome
A total noob... that's ok mate , we all start like that at some point ..
Glad you are taking course ...they are a bloody great idea!!
An 88 cbr600f ....woohoo, they are very very close to the Original Sin
(and that's a good thing :-)...well done ...a really nice choice for a first ride ...
Advice ??... well aways remember that riders get killed not because of the bike ...Riders are the dangerous part of riding...bike's are generally safe
Never over extend yourself thinking it wont happen to you , because if you do , IT WILL , eventually...
take it slow , have fun and never get tempted by anyone else to ride beyond where you feel safe mate...
BTW : Need any help around here just PM me :-)
Some fast find links are below mate ....use them with my compliments ..
