Congrats! Even if it isn't a CBR we still need to see pics Personally, I would've recommended a turbo Busa but I guess the 250 will do

Best of luck to ya and feel free to stick around CBRF ... especially if you feel like going out and riding stupid. These guys will put you on the right path grasshoppa ...

Excellent choice! I have owned several litre bikes, my current one is a beast and love to track it, but I am seriously thinking about a small 2 stroker just for the track. I used to flog a Yamaha rd 350 and I might just do it again. After some time in on the Ninja you can sell it in a flash or better yet take it to the track and learn how ro really ride. It is an awesome little track bike. THe track will make you a better street rider, and make you go slower on the street. We have more than enough squids there now.

The faster I go on the track the slower I go on the street.

That was funny Hangfire, but I differ slightly on your advice. I think every 16 year old should start with a little older car to learn how to drive, say a Porshe 935 twin turbo. Great starter car.

I would guess that at least one third of everyone on here has another manufacturers bike in addition to there cbr or dose not even own a Honda. I know this is true on other forums too. If is got 2 wheels its good.
